Climate

Fìkh Dir-kǐc covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 9468 m (-11886 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Fìkh Dir-kǐc was founded durring the late 10th century, by Tshêyêbm Garesmth. The establishment of Fìkh Dir-kǐc was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Tshêyêbm Garesmth electing to pay people to resettle in Fìkh Dir-kǐc.
Fìkh Dir-kǐc was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Dir-kǐc is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Fìkh Dir-kǐc is buildings are arranged within a network of narrow cobblestone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The timber-based walls has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.
A look around Fìkh Dir-kǐc makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It’s a quiet town filled with closed scriptoriums, people quietly yet dejectedly reading in isolated places around town, and the occasional book laying in a heap of garbage.
Civic Infrastructure
Fìkh Dir-kǐc has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.
Fìkh Dir-kǐc has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Fìkh Dir-kǐc. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Fìkh Dir-kǐc's parks.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Fìkh Dir-kǐc's natural decorations nor waterways.
Fìkh Dir-kǐc has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.
Fìkh Dir-kǐc's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields.
